The Role

We're looking for a Senior SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance Consultant to lead delivery across our client engagements. You'll be the functional authority on asset management — designing solutions, running client workshops, leading EAM workstreams and mentoring delivery teams, operating from strategy through to configuration and master data detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design and delivery of SAP EAM / PM solutions across S/4HANA and ECC.
• Facilitate client workshops — validating business requirements, design validations, Master Data Design including standards and taxonomy.
• Design core EAM master data: functional locations, equipment, task lists, maintenance plans, BOMs and criticality.
• Configure and advise on maintenance planning & scheduling tools (SAP MRS, Prometheus, Click or equivalent).
• Lead mobile maintenance solutions — SAP Asset Manager / SSAM, Neptune DXP and digital checklists.
• Manage and mentor EAM delivery teams, owning scope and delivery quality.
• Apply modern AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation and client deliverables.

Essential Experience

• SAP certified — current SAP certification in Plant Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management (S/4HANA Asset Management or equivalent) is required.
• 10+ years SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance functional consulting.
• At least 3 full life-cycle implementations, ideally including S/4HANA.
• Mining and resources experience, plus at least one other asset-intensive sector (rail, energy / oil & gas, water or utilities).
• Demonstrated expertise with maintenance scheduling and planning tools (SAP MRS, Prometheus, Click or comparable).
• Strong EAM fundamentals: FLOC hierarchy design, criticality, task lists, maintenance plans and BOMs.
• Proven experience running client workshops and leading EAM delivery teams.
• Excellent communicator, confident influencing senior stakeholders.
• Well-versed in current AI technologies — comfortable using generative AI / LLM tools (e.g. Claude, SAP Joule) to enhance delivery.

Highly Desirable

• S/4HANA EAM migration and modernisation experience.
• Hands-on SAP Asset Manager / SSAM and Neptune DXP.
• International experience is a strong plus — particularly delivering in a Middle East environment (Gulf / GCC oil & gas, energy or resources), including comfort working across cultures and time zones.
